I am trying to find the model

I am trying to find the model year and fuel/oil mix ratio for a Mariner outboard model 5ML. Serial number is 427528.

If your Mariner is made in Japan, you'll probably find it in the first PDF file on the page (at least the serials look similar to yours, though they have a three digit prefix in front).

Once you have the year, you should be able to find a manual for your engine from the drop box on the same page (select "Operation and maintenance manual" instead of "Model year identification" and narrow down with further selections). I imagine the mix is the usual 50:1 but best to check, as I'm not an expert.
