Is this motor considering be a Yamaha/Mariner 40C.? I’m looking for year of manufacture and need an impeller/water pump kit. Thanks.

My serial number doesn’t seem to bring anything up. I’ve search thru this forum to find a similar solution.

My serial number is 6 digits long. The parts finder says it needs to be 7-8 digits.

Looks to be a 40FE model. Circa 1988.

If you are in the US the equivalent would be a 40XX or 40XXXX of some flavor.

Thanks for your help. I found the serial number to be an auto-blend too. I can confirm it is not an auto-blend since it doesn’t have an oil tank.
