My number on engine is 40ELO 6E9 L 429755 mariner 40 hp 2 stroke just wanted to know the year of my engine thanks for any help

What prop would u recommend for it it's on a 12ft fibreglass boat with 2 seats

Hard to say without knowing your max rpms that your current prop is producing.I think the max for your Mariner is 5500rpm.,going by the number on it,48-73136-13,10 3/8 x 13".If you are getting close to your max rpms with this prop,I would replace it with same.
