Mariner 40 horse serial # 0G209324. I trolled for about 2 hours and ran fast upstream and started trolling again for about 1 minute and the engine just quit. I tried 30 if not 40 minutes later and it would not start. I pulled a spark plug and checked for spark and there was none. When I got it home about an hour and a half later it fired. I could not use the boat for about 3 months. Recently I put muffs on and ran it for about a half an hour. It ran fine. Not feeling comfortable bringing it out on the big lake.
