Hey all, was out Saturday and all seemed fine when the engine just cut out!
For some reason when i prime the engine it will start and run but wont pull any fresh fuel to the filter?
I have checked all pipes/connections and even tried just dropping the fuel line into an open tank but it refuses to pull any fuel up!

Any ides?

Sounds like ruptured fuel pump diaphragm,but first,does primer bulb get hard or does it collapse? If it collapses there is a blockage between it and/in the fuel tank.If it doesn't go hard,faulty primer bulb.

Thanks for the reply,
The primer bulb does start to get hard then occasionally collapses, i have ordered a replacement as i thought it should stay a lot firmer than it was!

If it starts to get hard and collapses,then have a look in your tank for something blocking the pick up.When primed,the bulb will harden but as the motor runs it becomes pliable as the fuel flows through.

Had a fuel pipe in the filler hole, no blockages at all!
