I have a Mariner 28 SN 6645742

I have a Mariner 28 SN 66457422. I need to order a part for the control box. It's the part that controls the shifting cable. There is no number on the box or part. Can anyone help me?

"Patrick, unfortuanately a control box is not unique to a particular model of motor. You could have any number of control boxes mated up with your motor - original from Merc, or Yamaha, or US Marine/Morse/Teleflex on and on.

You really need to determine what it is that you have (at least the make).

Post a picture if you can and perhaps someone can readily identify it..."
