Guys in need of help. I want to buy a service manual for my outboard but I don't know what year it is. Engine info:

Mariner 25hp s/n 06131453 what year?

I have had no luck with the websites so far...

I used the Mercury Parts database software (not online) and also a book that of serial numbers and years that Mercury used to publish but no longer do.

Mercury/Mariner motors don't go by "model year" and as a result it is often very hard to detirmine the year from the serial numbers.

The Seloc manual will cover more models than just yours. It will have the specs on each model, but the proceedures described could be common to a variety of models.

Your other choice would be the factory service manual from Mercury. We don't sell it.
