Have a mariner 2.5 1996. Wont idle. Runs a little rough at high revs but throttle it back and it dies. In fact struggles to run without choke. Cleaned carb out, looks ok. Even tken little reed filter from tank incase it was gummed up and causing fuel starvation. Any ideas most appreciated!! Suspects it the ignition system but how to test? Thanks Pau"
