Have acquired a Mariner 25 ser

Have acquired a Mariner 25 serial # 0B365004. can anyone tell me what year and model this is?

"Scott, that is a 1988 Mercury Mariner. It had no particular model name although became the "Sea Pro" a couple years later.

Probably the best 25 horse 2 stroke outboard of all time for quality, reliability and durability.

Outside of the U.S. this motor is still in production today with few if any parts changed from your model year. It is currently being sold as Merc's 25 horse "Saltwater" edition.

Except for the carb, it also shares all parts with any Mercury 20 horse built in the 1986 model year onward.

Your model should not be confused with the 1988 "Marathon" which was a Yamaha built Mariner, no longer in production."
