I have purchased a used bass boat that hasn't ran for 5 years. Boat was kept in garage. I replaced water pump and port side head gasket. It had low compression so replaced gasket and now compression is close to other side. Other than draining fuel and oil tanks I want to replace a few hoses.
I started the motor for the first time and it cranked right up and ran for 30 seconds smoking like a train. Then after that it might fire and and run a sec or just start and stop. White smoke just comes out of the exhaust and it hasn't even ran long.
