Mariner 115 Engine does not start , Beginner needs help fixing up boat

This is my first post and I know nothing about boats, but that didnt' stop me from buying one and attempting to fix it. Here is a video of the engine not starting.

Just got this broken boat a week ago and paid $500 for it. Yeah I'm jumping in the deep end first! Can anyone look at this video and tell me what I should trouble shot? We did have a water hose hooked up to it. engine serial # is 0c104902 4 cylinder 1988 made.
Does anyone know where to get a service manual for it? OR if there is any web sites that I can read to teach myself how to fix this baby?
 
so I trouble shot the electrical system.
I took my car battery and some jumper cables and hooked them up directly to the solenoid positive and starter negative terminals and all I get is a clicking sound. Where is a good place to buy a replacement solenoid? thank you!
 
Also the ignition switch makes an alarm noise every time I turn they key. I opened it up and disconnected the alarm because I couldn't hear the starter solenoid clicking with the blasted alarm on.

There is also a silver up/down power switch under the ignition I have no idea what it is for
 
If the solenoid on your "Marine-er" clicks but the starter doesn't work, look for bad battery connections and proper charge). If that's okay, change the solenoid.
