service manual #3 1979 thru 1984 i would be more than happy to pay you for it ive tried and tried to download it and its next to impossible to do it with dial up yes we are still in the stone age and i hate it but a copy would be dearly appriciated

I believe that I have the Manuals that you are searching for. They're called Mercruiser Service Manual Number 3 and it's Book 1 of 2, Sections 1 thru 4, and Book 2 of 2, Sections 5 thro 9. It's printed in 1985 by Brunswick. Sound familiar?
Where are you situated? I'm in the south east corner of British Columbia.
I've just loaded up on the service manuals for my new boat, and these are dispensible.

yes it is nice stuff. someone sent me a dvd with merc manuals 1 thru 8 and i cant figure out who did only clue i have is norway 2 people have sent me disc and they know who they are and it is a wealth of info my problem is we only have dial-up internet and there next to imposible for me to get but the fine fellas on here seen that i didnt do without. frontier vision bought out verizon so maybe they will install high speed in my rural area

Go to iboats.com, select the Forum, select Mercruiser/OMC/Volvo,sterndrives section. I believe the first topic is the Adults Only, it is a pretty complete collection of the Mercury manuels and you can download them for free. Save it on a CD, it takes up alot of computer memory.
