Bolt lossened up holding the manual starter on a 9.9 75 evinrude.How do I reinstall starter on engine.

"This old rude was sitting in a garage for 10 years,when I took off the cover the starter was just sitting there.I am now trying to piece it back together.I also need help with frozen plugs.They won't buge with a plug socket and rachet.Any ideas how to remove them."

I use the online brp catalogs

I use the online brp catalogs for references to how things go together and part numbers. Try soaking your plugs with sea foam deep creep or liquid wrench or eqivalant. There's the old back yard trick of using heat(propane torch) and then use candle wax to draw into the threads and lubes them up. Biggest thing is to take your time and get them out without dammaging the threads.
