I’ve done a lot of googling and searching on this page but haven’t found an answer yet. I changed the impeller on my 02 Merc 115. Dropped it while in reverse because I read to do that. Although now I see the repair manual says forward. Anyway, my shift shaft will change from reverse to neutral no matter if I turn it CW or CCW. There is a point where it feels like forward, but no click, it will turn the shaft both directions.
