6 hp 1965 Johnson, is the lower unit shaft bearing retainer nut left or right hand thread?

What shaft bearing retainer nut are you talking about ????-----------------Best to post a picture as no one will know this one.-----Unless you are talking about the prop nut on the end off the propshaft.

There are NO left hand threaded nuts, screws, bolts, or studs, anywhere on that engine.

Every thread is a right hand thread.
