Lower Unit Repair Help Please

Hello all,
I’m new here and to boat repair. I’m replacing the upper shaft bearing. My question is do I pack the bearing with grease like replacing axel bearings or do I just let the lower unit gear oil do the job of lubricating?

1984 Johnson 2 cylinder two stroke 60 horse

The lower unit oil will take care of the lubrication, but of course some assembly lube as you install. You can use either light grease or 90w.
 
Okay, so be sure to fill from the bottom until lube comes out the top hole. Have it standing vertically. You probably know that but just making sure. Thanks.
