Lower unit noise

Hi All
I have a 1998 Evinrude 90hp Ocean pro. Runs great but when I back off on the throttle the lower unit makes a grinding noise. Sounds similiar to the noise when shifting into gear. Any thoughts? Thanks Bill

Normal-----------Just slow the motor down gradually and not all of a sudden.
