"hello all, model #856X4L, can someone tell me if I have a one piece lower unit w/ a cam shift or coupler shift or two piece unit w/ cam or coupler? i'm reading through the seloc manual to change the impeller & water pump. pretty sure i have a one piece unit w/ a cam shift. just want to be sure. thanks as always dave"

"David, not a tough job at all. Your manual should walk you through it. Once you undo the coupler for the shift shaft and get the bolts out of the lower unit, it should come off fairly easily (most of the time)


This is one of those jobs that after you have done it once, seems simple..."
