" What could cause a lower unit to blow? We never hit anything in the water that we know of, and there's no obvious damage on the SS prop. Could recklass driving (speeding, making sharp turns, running it wide open for long periods of time) cause this?? There was plenty of oil in the lower, and no water was mixed in. The whole lower unit needs replacement. It even looks like it has blown out on the sides. Just trying to fiure out what could of happened when it was running so beautiful. Thanks alot. "
