Lower power tilt

"i know this is very basic, but could use the help. somehow my motor is tilted all the way up. someone may have done this not sure, but its up. there is not response by any of the switches to bring it down. what might be the prob and how can i manuelly lower the motor. it is a 86 mariner 150 with power tilt & trim."

"It should have a manual release screw on the side, turn it to lower. Need to check battery for power, power at the relay when switched, power at the motor. A small tap with a hammer on the motor might get it going long enough to work. If no power check the fuse on the engine."
