lower of a 3.0 on a 2.3

Just curious, can you put the lower leg of a 3.0 on a 2.3 and have the same gear ratio?

not that simple...some years of 2.3 used a 21:21 upper and a 3.0 13 spline lower, other years used a unique 2.3Lower with a standard 3.0 upper.
then, some 3.0's used a 15 spline (800 series) heavy duty lower unit

I have no idea when all those changes took place, so I give a resounding maybe
