I have a Johnson 7.5 HP Sailmaster (that I have had for over 20 years) - J8SRLCNR - the lower motor cover housing was broken when the OB slammed into the dock during a storm. The original lower cover - part number 0392179/0390234 is no longer available. Can I use a lower cover from a newer model? 86-89 part number 0396557/0396558 (repl 0431837) or (repl 0431835) are available. I need to buy a new one - however I want to be sure to get the correct part and will need a powerhead gasket & seals - Thanks for your help
