I am preparing to replace the water pump impeller on my 1994 Johnson 120HP J120TLARC "120ti gearcase". This is the original impeller. I reviewed joereeves post of Feb 2001 to tvickers "guest" request for guidance, does my 1994 120 have the same or similar wiring harness & wire colors that must be disconnected / re-connected? When I remove the lower gear case is there anything else that needs to be disconnected internally before I try to expose the water pump assembly.
I haven't had a high temp alarm but my flow pressure gauge is not registering flow and the engine housing discharge port flow is a trickle.
