"my motor #TE70TLCE, has the early production model carbs, where is the low speed jets located, whats the best way to clean the. The motor runs great at higher rpms but cuts out when it is idling. Thanks"

"The low speed orifice is located in the hole just above the throttle bore. It takes a special to to remove it. It is a special fit screw driver, you can make one.
It sounds like you need to remove the carbs and clean them, remove all jets and clean them and blow out all passages with compressed air."

The one under the 7/16 plug on

The one under the 7/16 plug on the bowel is the high speed jet. I beleave if you use a flashlight and look in the hole ABOVE the throttle plate bore you will see the idle orifice.
If you go to the BRP parts web site and locate your engine and look at the carb breakdown it will show you the carb parts.
