LOST COMM error

I have a 2006 496 mag. I am having a beeping noise followed by a partial stall and then back to standard rpms. Then some of the gauges sometimes stop working and a "lost comm" error code displays.

Any thoughts??

Sounds like the computer has found a fault, it tell you (beeps), and then entering power reduction mode....

I'd get a scan tool and find which area is causing the fault and proceed from there...

Sounds like your "CAN" line has water in it. Look at the connection at the engine Right past the connector there will be a bulge in the wire. Cut the case open carefully and look for moisture. If wet, dry it out and reseal it. Also find out how it got wet and keep it dry. Possible Pitot leak and spraying water if wet.
