"Our pontoon with a 2001 75hp Mercury ELPT 4 stroke we have limited power. When we rev it up in neutral its fine. But when we take it out it has half its power. The motor sounds fine when its running, no hesitation or sputtering."

"It sounds electrical ,if you have a mulitmeter and some mechanical / electrical knowledge you should search stator switch box on previous thread for the testing procedure.Or take it to a dealer should bbe a quick fix,stator ,switch box etc"
