Hello folks.
Got and issue with a 1975 9.9 Evinrude I bought last night. The seller loaded it into my truck so I didn't catch the problem until I was home and unloaded it. When I picked it up using the carrying handle, I noticed a lot of play/separation between the shaft and the transom mounting bracket. It seems like a bushing or something is worn.
I hope I've described this OK. Does anyone have an idea what I need to do to tighten this up?
