I just thought I would share this from a repair I did when I got my first outboard 5 years ago and had to tear it down to tighten and apply locktite on these three bolts.I noticed the engine was loose when I got my boat home from buying it and did not notice it till then.Did not know what was wrong till I finally saw under the lower cowling in this tight space that these bolts were loose.What a pain to try and get to tighten these.Unless I missed something simple the leg had to come off so I could get to these after lifting off the cowling and powerhead.No way to get a wrench in there.Found out they must not have put locktite on them at the factory I guess?Was there an easier way?
