Looking for pistons for older 454

Hey there. Looking for (2) pistons and rings for a mercruiser MIE 330 ( a 454 ), serial # A465640 - years '81-'87 - the engine is an i/b.

The piston is a GM 12456436.

Mercruiser shows they are not available anymore.

A local GM dealership said the same thing.

Where can I find these ?

Try Jegs or Summit racing for older BBC internal parts. But you'll need to replace the pistons as a set, along w/ the rings. I would consider a rebuild and ballance of the engine if I needed to replace and rotating components like that. Or even just getting a complete short (or long) block. They do have complete ballanced rotating assy's available for the short block.
 
Michigan motors may have them. So your gonna cheat and do just 2, for a little bit more money you can install better pistons. Your gonna overbore just 2 holes i bet also.
