looking for a foot assembly for omc sterndrive

mine needs bearings and has a crack
where is the best place to get bearings for it

Year of drive, you say theres a crack ?

1978 120hp the crack isnt the only problem my idiotstick nrother decided to take the foot apart he yanked the wires out of the magnet coil and says the bearings all need to be replaced so i figure a complete lower gearcase might be best

or maybe i should sell what i have left

there's no magnet coils in a 1978 OMC sterndrive -some pics would help us help you ID what you have.

once you figure the ID, you can search ebay or your local craigslist or kijiji for used iron

ok here is the foot I think its a 73 boat is 1978 definately electric shift
Ive decided to get the foot welded and while at it replace the bearings so here we go.
my problem now,
I need to replace bearings so i need to remove the nut down inside the foot(1 1/8). is there a tool that will hold the shaft(spline) how do I get it apart,is there a tool i need to order? I am an automotive equipement trainer so have access to most tools but cant figure this one out.
im trying to post the pics but you will remember this boat from a preveous post where i rescued it from a barn
