lockwood ash engine

i recently acquired a 2 cyl 8 hp 2 stroke lockwood ash . it must be an older model since it has a screwed carb connection in lieu of a bolted manifold . this was taken out of a very old schooner in the '60's and dry inside stored . it appears in excellent cond . i know absolutely nothing of how to operate it . can anyone lead me to help ? it has a raised chain-sprocket crank at back and a normal crank on flywheel . what is the chain drive crank for ? any info on operation / rebuild will be appreciated . reply here - or - preferably - direct to email : [email protected] . thanks .
