Locked up hydraulic ram

My 1997 merc alpha 1 starboard trim is locked in the up position how do I unlock it ???

Ayuh,.... If 1 ram is seized, rebuild or replace it...

If the drive is stuck up, have a fat friend jump on it, as it's powered down,...

Then, when trimmin' up, 'n it hits the top, overloadin' the pump, tap the down button a couple seconds to relieve the pressure on the valving...
