"The new one I bought came with specs, I will see if I can find them. I always used a little PB blaster on the dist shaft then two flathead crew drivers to pry it up against the dist body.
I was also told to use a non-ferrous (brass) feeler guage to prevent damaging the pick-up or reluctor not sure if this is important or not but I did and my runs great.

"Use a non-magnetic feeler guage (brass or plastic0. A .006" should pass, a .008" should not. Be sure to make a final check after the hold down screw is tightened."
