link and sync carbs 1982 115 hp

I have a 1982 e 115 and need to know the procedure in this.I have done one on a 1972 65 hp many years ago.Should be somewhat similar...?Like I said ..its been a long time.

If needed, back off the cam so that it is not touching the throttle cam roller. adjust the throttle linkage between the carburetors so that the butterflies open and close at the same time. Adjust the throttle cam roller so that the scribe mark on the cam makes contact and just starts to open the throttle butterflies when that scribe mark is dead center with the roller, not before or after.

Unless you have changed the measurement between the vertical throttle arm and the cam, that should do it. If however you have changed that adjustment, the idle timing should be set as stated in your service manual when the cam is centered with the roller by putting that adjustment where it belongs (whatever that timing is).
