good morning my problem is that I had a bad switch box to start, I changed it to find that the high speed stator side was also burnt out limiting the engine only to 1,000 rpm then stalling. with the stator, and both switch boxes changed I went to start it and it and it raced at 2,000 RPM at idle, so I started to lower screws to lower the idle, and I think I tru off the timming, so I had a link & sink at the marina done, and now its limited to 3,500 RPM, so also I changed the diaframs in the fuel pump, because its is smoking a lot. I tried 3 different fuel tanks also to elimitate the fuel. the only thing left is the wide open timming might be off could this be a cause, and its not the propeller size or pitch because that never changed since this all started.

perfect 115 - 120 all 6 cylinders, spark in all 6 cylinders, and to test the WOT timming I turned the limit screw in and out 2 to 3 turns each way and no difference same RPM. its got me all started with the stator and switch boxes
