Left vent plug loose after checking lube

Lube is milky after forgetting to retighten vent plug after a lube check.

Just drain and refill lower unit lube?

Is there a flush method to get all water out?

Just drain it an refill it - if you are worried that some residual water may be left in there, change it again after 10-20 hours of run time.

As long as you use a Marine (GL5 rated) gear oil, a tiny bit of water is not going to hurt much...

Yes just drain oil,leave plug out for a while so all oil and water has time to run out.Refill and don't forget to retighten plug. lol
