Leaking Monel tanks

" I have four, 125 gallon rivetted monel tanks on a sportfisherman. The two port tanks are leaking. Unfortunately, since the boat was built around the tanks, MAJOR reconstruction would be necessary to remove/replace them. Has anyone got experience with bladder tanks or an internal spray coating that would alleviate the need to remove the tanks? Are any other options available? Thanks "

" There are liquid tank sealers that are meant to be used in small fuel tanks. You pour the liquid in and the rotate the tank around to get coverage over the entire tank. Most of the liquid is poured back out with only a surface coating left on the inside of the tank. I have used them on small tanks that had rust pitting... it worked well. You obviously make an effort to get the inside of the tank as clean as possible prior to coating.
I don't know of an internet source for it. It is sometimes sold at autoparts stores.
You will have a difficult time applying it though since you cannot move the tank.
