leaking gear oil

Just put gear oil in Honda B-100 lower end it,s leaking out small weep hole & rectangular hole above water intake whats going on? water keeps finding its way into gears?

Most likely, you have a bad seal under the water pump or on the shiftshaft.

You have to remove the lower unit to change out the seals.
