ldler pulley question

i have 97 350v-8 gm alpha.. my question is on the ldler pulley a shouldered bushing that goes into it and that is what goes over the adjusting stud, well that bushing is real sloppy inside the idler, is it supposed to be like that?? i would think it would be tight. i don"t know thats why i ask you guys!!

Is the pulley sloppy and moving around after you tighten the 5/8 nut? If it is not it is fine.

yea moves a little after its tighten up!!

I would replace the pulley then.

its real hard to find one, can find all of them,alt,ps,wp, but no pics of ldler pulley!!
