Guys,
I'm asking this here because my understanding is that Evinrude only made these trailers for four to five years and nobody seems to know. I imagine only boat engine guys could answer this so here it is.
I'm trying to piece together this Evinrude trailer's VIN. I have a Serial number W17056 and a Model Number EB669A from the placard. My understanding is that the serial number should be the last six digits of the VIN. The model number shows it's probably a 1969 trailer and EB669A might be part of the VIN.
But other than that, I can't find a vin stamped anywhere on the tong or structure. I don't see any examples of these VINs because so few were made. I'm just wondering if anyone here knows how to decode this. It's a single axle, probably 16'. They all look the same pretty much.
Any help appreciated!
Todd
