I'm posting to ask if anyone knows tha proper place to drill the engine block on a KH7 for a tell tale ("pee hole") on the 20 C.I. Merc block. I have a nice 1/16" NPT tap and a brass fitting. I just don't want to punch the hole in the wrong place. There's a You Tube vidio where a guy thinks you drill for the tell tale and it's on the lower right front of the block on a small flat surface just above where the block joins the lower unit. I don't think he's right because there's a stud there to mount the lower unit. I ain't drillin'. till I know for sure. With the power head off now (i'm installing new main bearing seals) it looks like the best place to drill would be on the lower cylinder water jacket.
