Hey all, I've got a 1996 Merc 175 EFI. Since the day I bought this engine every key-on resulted in 2 short beeps. I was hoping someone could fill me in on what each of those beeps relates to. When the temperature is really cold, I'd say probably 40's or below sometimes I'll get 1 until the engine warms up. Yesterday and today I got nothing initially. After is was started I got 2 beeps. Let me know if there's any more info you need to help. Basically looking for a) what's normal, b) what does 1 beep tell me, and c) what does no beep tell me? Thanks in advance for your time.
