"You were giving some advice on my non starting evinrude. This is what I found now. I have replaced solenoid 2 time with the same result . nothing when key is turned , can hear choke come on when key is pushed in . Check continuity from top post of solenoid to starter and read 0. Checked at small posts and read .45 or something like that but no fire at S terminal . Is it supposed to be hot when key is turned or does it mater because I am not getting any regardless . Hooked jumper cables hot post from bat to S terminal and she fires right up .Any Suggestions"

"on the small posts,..one is blk(ground) the other,either yellow/red,or wht,is from your key sw,and should have 12v on it as u turn to start,..if not,ck wiring,and go into key sw to determine prob...use ohmmeter on key sw term too,may be a bad sw."
