Just discovered the "Privater Messages" area

Never realized people out there were trying to discuss (or curse me!) until today. Sorry. (The PMs in the "Notifications" area at the top, just right of center.)

I'll check that area regularly from no on. And you should too!

Jeff,

You might want to set your profile to send you an email when you get a PM (Private Message). Go to the Settings (upper right) and then to General Settings and then to the Private Message section. :) :)
 
I'm still having trbl adjusting to this new format. I really miss the preview pain we used to get in our e-mail notifications. I find myself just deleting a lot of messages without bothering to open each one up anymore.

Usually I just get the thread title with a link for each topic.... is it because I'm not logged in or I'm not in the thread...?
 
Ah OK I think you are getting the summery thread from which does only have that info.
you can select a few option I have ID'd below.

this forum has the ability to customize most everything the default is set to no notification but you will have the ability to turn on each type of notification it will take some playing with I suspect it did for me.

I'm getting some individual 'comments' thru but not all. Maybe the reply-er has to set an option...???
 
HMM accentually I hadn't thought about that but I know what your saying I think that the forum remembers that last time you logged on and only send one notification.
 
A cookie maybe....??? I did get your response this time.

I'll try clearing my browser history and see what happens.
