just cant fix 1996 175 hp

Hello,
I have a 96 175 fast strike having a problem that is getting worse it started, every time I would stop to fish for a bit I would have to prime the ball or the motor will die on take off. Or when I stated the motor it would idle in till the ball got soft then die, I was told it my be in the main tank so I set up a small tank to test run and it would idle but will not run under a load.
So I went back to the main tank and now it will only run if someone is pumping the priming ball.
I replaced the ball, all flue lines, filter, and spark plug.
I will try anything just cant trust the marinas.

I went to the lake last night to work on the motor trying to run some test on the fule pump the pump is holding about 10 psi but don’t know if that means its ok. I was reading the manual and the pump has three parts to it dose any know if just the flue pump can be replaced? I don’t use the vro pulse any more.

If there are no air/fuel leaks anywhere, and the engine will continue to run if someone constantly pumps the fuel primer bulb...... the fuel pump has failed.

Problem fixed replaced fuel pump, motor runs fine thanks for all your help.
