'87 150hp Merc - I have the motor and tach that were on a different boat. The pointer on the back of the tach is set to twelve. the manual says to have it set to four. I ran the motor for about 15 minutes while bleeding the oil injection and checking temp and so on. The tach was fine for about 14 minutes and then started jumping around and then eventually settled back to where it had been running. Any ideas to what may have caused this? Thanks.
