I have a jonson 140 sea horse

I have a jonson 140 sea horse and it had a hicup at an idle.I did a compresson test #1=60 #2=60#3=100#4=100 what do you think? head gasket or rings?

Are you sure that it is cylinders 1 and 2 that have the 60 psi reading? If so, that top carburetor has no doubt been running lean and probably has caused piston damage (assuming the engine is one of the older dual carburertor models.)

If on the opther hand, if the 60 psi relates to cylinders 1 and 3 or 2 and 4, then I would possibly suspect a head gasket problem."
