Jonnson 150 GT 1986 cooling

My Jonnson 150 GT 1986 got into some mud and the little stream of water is not coming out from under the cowling. Where do I need to clean to get the water flowing again. The engine does not heat and plenty of water comes out of water exhaust at the outboard tail.

Run a piece of weedwhacker line up the pee hole while the engine is running and see what happens. Good luck

Another question: when ran the engine, the block temp was ~146 deg F at starboard but 115 at the port; it appears that the thermostat gets stuck in open position. I changed both thermostats and the related parts about 9 months ago. I have ordered another kit for port but do you think it is thermostat or gunk stuck in the housing?

Possibly the thermostat since you can get a flaky new part.

thanks and Yes; also a couple of pebbles were stuck between the rubber parts below the thermostat.
