My Johnson V4 75HP 1964 model
My Johnson V4 75HP 1964 model pulls the boat to the right when at WOT. Can I install a torque tab (round disc with a small fin on it) in the blank hole to the rear of the exhaust outlet? Don't know what the hole is for. Nothing in parts manual.
This hole would have to be tapped it looks like. The exhaust outlet is screwed into a hole towards the front of the motor.
The torque tab would be about 3" in diameter and the fin 2" x 2 1/2". This would not obstruct the exhaust very much. Would on extend about 1 1/2" back towards the front of the motor into the exhaust outlet.
