Johnson Tracker 50hp trim tilt unit

Hey guys and gals, I recently bought a 1989 Bass Tracker with a Johnson Tracker 50hp engine. The trim/tilt unit has a small leak at the rod gland seal that I will have to fix, but I cannot find info on this particular unit. All the info I have found shows a unit that has a fill port/plug just below the motor on the trim unit. This one does not have that port. It looks just like the back side (side that you cannot see....next to transom) of the units shown in all the exploded views I`'ve found online.
On my unit there is only the one slotted screw/plug, down low, that the exploded views show as being some kind of valve internally. I thought that this unit might be some very early version not seen often?
My motor model is TJ50TLCEC For starters, what zI need to know is how do I check/fill the fluid in this unit? Thank you for any insight.

Fill plug is clearly show in diagrams on this site.----335657
Well......as I said, the one on my engine does NOT have that port or plug. I realize all the exploded views show 3 plugs or ports, with that part num being the fill plug. The unit on my motor that I know to be the original unit does not. It has ONLY the lower plug on that side.

Well----I just went out in the snow and looked at one of these units.----Found the fill plug in about 2 seconds or less.

And is it located above the plug that is down low on the housing, making it just below the motor? Near the motor to housing parting line?
That is where I see them in the part drawings. This unit has only one plug visible, and it is very near the lower edge of the housing, which I'm guessing couldn't be a fill plug.

Being new to the site I don't know if I can post pics or not. Pic would show that my unit doesn't have the fill port that I see in the diagrams, although all else looks like the exploded views.
I did find a unit that looks like mine by doing a Google search. Let me see if I can find the link.

I guess I figured it out. The fill plug/port is on the port side and can't easily be seen unless you pull the pivot pin and let the unit swing out from the engine mount.

I have only seen one other `89 50 horse that has a trim unit like this one. All the pics I`'ve seen show three plugs or ports (two of which are valves of some sort) on the same side.(the aft side of unit) You never know if the pic or drawing is of an actual `89 or if it`s a generic pic for multiple years. Are all 89`s machined with the fill port on the inaccessible left/port side of the unit?
